Everywhere, Lies
The darkness fold around me,
blocking everything out.
I see a flash of light,
piercing through the darkness for me.
I reach out for it,
but it's gone faded away
I see your face,
Smiling at me,
Saying you love me.
Then the darkness comes,
Twisting your words into lies,
Using me as your puppet.
I turn away,
But I still hear your voice,
Calling me back.
I want to go,
But the past pulls me on,
Farther and farther away from you.
